Deanna Simmons: I am a set decorator currently working in the film industry in Louisiana and New York. I have a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New Orleans with a major in Film, Theatre, and Communication Arts and a minor in Fine Arts. I have over ten years professional experience in the film industry and have worked on numerous productions as a production designer, set decorator, assistant decorator, buyer, set dresser, property manager, assistant props, key wardrobe, and production assistant. My work in film has afforded me the opportunity to perform a multitude of tasks in the art department, putting my artistic ability into practice. Specializing in problem solving has also sharpened my ability to make the most out of minimal budgets. My skills include painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, and design. I enjoy new projects and look forward to exercising my creativity!
